Getting To Know Us: Kent & His Financial Mission
Kent, the founder of Right Hand Tax Prep & Bookkeeping, knows what it means to overcome adversity.
In late 2017, Kent suffered a stroke caused by an aneurysm near his brain. He was in a medically induced coma for a month, left with partial loss of motor skills and was given only a one percent chance of survival. God answered the many prayers of Kent’s family members and his bible study group to save his life. While expected to be confined to a wheelchair the rest of his life, Kent began intensive physical therapy that eventually gave him the opportunity to learn and walk again.
Kent’s faith in God who heals, the love and encouragement from his two young sons, Kent Russell and Zachery, as well as the support of Christian friends gave him consistent encouragement and strength each day to endure therapy and learn to adapt to the re-start of his life. His surgery left him with use of only his right hand, which was extremely difficult as a left-handed person.
Kent is a licensed CPA and has been actively using his accounting skills to assist others with income tax preparation and bookkeeping needs since his recovery. His experiences overcoming adversity and patience in recovery help him to have a unique perspective when working with clients. Kent can empathize with those that are struggling…physically, mentally, and spirtually.
In God’s Hands,
Kent
